Tears
Once upon a time I have walked through the autumn garden in Marahau. There was a dew everywhere and my eyes spotted these beautiful tears sitting in the middle of the nasturtium leaves. In a couple of minutes I was back with my camera and macro lens...

Peace Tree Walk 2006 - Motueka River Valley - Aotearoa
TreeWalk is a group of volunteers walking from school to school to plant trees native to Aotearoa. We were walking along the Motueka River located on top of the South Island in Aotearoa. TreeWalk gathered at Mountain Valley School at the beginning of Graham Valley on October 7th 2006 and than it was following the river through Ngatimoti, Brooklyn, Riwaka, Motueka, Lower Moutere to finish its journey at Riverside Community on October 13th 2006.
At each school TreeWalk crew was telling the children why is so important to plant trees to make them aware of Love for Nature, was playing music to them to make them dance and was planting trees so the children can look after them and watch them grow.
The multi-national people of TreeWalk were carrying trees, musical instruments and gear essential for camping using specially modified buggies to overcome more then 50km distance. The group planted about 200 trees - Cabbage tree, Beech tree, Kowhai, Manuka, Mountain Cedar, Kahikatea - and visited 14 schools within that one week.
I took these photos on the first day at Mountain Valley School and the last day in Motueka. The last photos are from Sunday Motueka Market where we were playing music to raise some donations. Unfortunately I couldn't join TreeWalk as I was housesitting a farm with a few living creatures I had to feed.

Kahurangi National Park : up at Cobb Valley
